  • Progressive Exercises For Pull-Up Beginners, Workout Progression Guide Released

Fitness Fahrenheit’s new guide recommends some exercises people can do to improve the body parts used in the pull-up movement. Some of these exercises include dead hangs, assisted pull-ups, and bodyweight rows.

More details can be found at https://www.fitnessfahrenheit.com/how-to-get-better-at-pull-ups

A pull-up is a difficult exercise to execute. It involves hanging from a bar fully extended, pulling the body up so the chin is above the hands, and then lowering back down to the starting position. When done correctly, it works out the biceps brachii, trapezius, latissimus dorsi, infraspinatus, brachialis, and teres major.

The difficulty of the exercise, however, prevents beginners from achieving multiple repetitions (reps), which are needed to build muscles.

According to the guide, there are a few exercises people can do to increase their pull-up rep count. One simple exercise is the dead hang, which is effectively the starting position for a pull-up. This exercise trains the person’s grip by getting them used to holding up their body’s weight. Fitness Fahrenheit recommends trying to hang for 10 seconds with minimal swinging to start and then increasing the time hanging in intervals from there.

To further fortify grip strength, Fitness Fahrenheit suggests trying a hand gripper. “Hand grippers work a lot of the vital body parts involved in a pull-up, such as the fingers, palms, wrists, and forearms,” said a spokesperson for the website. “They are also much more accessible and affordable than other gym equipment. Deadlifts and farmer’s walks can also help develop grip strength.”

Because a pull-up relies heavily on the back, arms, and core, Fitness Fahrenheit also recommends people work these areas out at least twice every week. Machine seated rows, barbell and dumbbell rows, machine lat pull downs, back extensions, and reverse machine flies are all effective exercises for building these areas.

Lastly, Fitness Fahrenheit notes that people can ease themselves into doing a pull-up by trying an assisted pull-up first. This exercise is intended to simulate a pull-up while removing the strain of the body’s weight. It can be completed with the help of a machine or a resistance band.

“Pull-ups have always been the bane of my exercise existence,” said a satisfied reader. “When I started I couldn’t even do one. Now, after some targeted development, I can do 10 with relative ease, and I’m hoping to keep that number increasing. Fitness Fahrenheit’s tips really helped me out a lot.”

  • NYC Employee Retention Tax Credit 2023: Eligibility Check & Application Expanded

With the new partnership, Let Hutch Help offers professional ERTC support to businesses in New York that have yet to claim their tax credits. If eligible, small businesses that were affected by the pandemic in some way – including a change in business hours, partial or full suspension of operations, and reduction in workforce – can receive up to $26,000 per W-2 employee.

More information can be found at: http://go.lethutchhelp.com/ercchatwithus

The announcement comes as the ERC program has undergone significant changes, presenting numerous challenges for businesses. Jorns & Associates will provide a detailed review and analysis of clients’ cases, outlining any necessary steps to maximize the claim.

The ERC program was designed to incentivize businesses to keep employees on their payroll during the COVID-19 pandemic. While it has been around for years, many businesses are not aware that they qualify.

Let Hutch Help and Jorns & Associates have a proven track record of helping businesses identify and claim the maximum amount of tax credits available to them. They will provide comprehensive analysis and support for businesses in New York City, ensuring they receive the maximum refund.

The ERC program can be complex, and partnering with Jorns & Associates will provide businesses with an expert guide through the process, the team explains. They have specific expertise that a regular CPA or payroll processor might not be well-versed in, to help businesses navigate the ever-changing regulations and maximize their credits.

The process begins with an initial consultation, during which the team will determine whether or not the client qualifies for the ERC. From there they can provide personalized guidance – including all the required documentation.

A spokesperson states: “ERC is a stimulus program designed to help those businesses that were able to retain their employees during the Covid-19 pandemic. Established by the CARES Act, it is a refundable tax credit that you can claim for your business.”

  • Provo, UT Water Softener Installation Services Announced By Guardian Soft Water

Guardian Soft Water announced its services to provide more households in the greater Provo, UT area with customized water filtration and softening systems. Depending on a household’s needs and average usage, Guardian Soft Water can install a single-tank water softener system or a twin-tank system. An in-depth description of the differences between these two systems can be found on the company’s blog.

Interested parties can learn more at https://guardianwatersoftener.com/

With its newly announced services, Guardian Soft Water offers residents and business owners in the greater Salt Lake City area an effective and reliable method for reducing the number of minerals in their water that lead to water hardness. By installing its Certified Guardian XT water softener system, the company can help protect customers’ home appliances, tubs, toilets, and sinks from damage caused by Utah’s mineral-rich hard water.

Due to the abundance of mountain ranges in Utah and the Great Salt Lake, Provo’s water supply is particularly dense with minerals which quickly develop deposits in home appliances and piping, says Guardian Soft Water. The water specialists at Guardian Soft Water can combat this by redoing a building’s plumbing to clear old deposits and installing a water softening system to prevent new ones. The company can also install its water softener system in a home or business that is pre-plumbed.

Guardian Soft Water also installs reverse osmosis water filtration systems to improve the taste and quality of Utah drinking water. The company’s reverse osmosis system reduces all water impurities to a healthy level for optimum drinking water safety without the need for chemical treatment. Water that has been purified by Guardian Soft Water’s reverse osmosis filtration system is suitable for family members of all ages and can safely be used in making baby formula.

“We live in a state where minerals are all over. You won’t get away from them but you can keep them from doing damage to your home,” said Guardian Soft Water CEO Jeff Smith. “Water is what I do and part of what I do is educating people so they will understand how hard water costs them far more than soft water ever will. Owning a high-quality water softener doesn’t have to be expensive. It’s actually been proven to cost far less than you’d expect.”

  • Preventing Weight Gain While Lifting: Muscle Mass & Water Retention Guide Launch

Fitness Fahrenheit, an online resource devoted to providing information on nutrition, wellness, and exercise equipment, has released a guide explaining why most people notice weight gains while lifting.

More details can be found at https://www.fitnessfahrenheit.com/does-weightlifting-make-you-gain-weight/

The newly released guide provides information on the various factors that could cause post-workout weight gains and likely steps one can take to avoid adding extra pounds.

In the guide, Fitness Fahrenheit highlights that weight gain is a natural fallout of strength training, albeit temporarily. As such, Fitness Fahrenheit advises readers not to be alarmed if they see a higher scale number, as this may indicate progress and that their body is adjusting to the workout.

A common cause of weight gain, as the guide points out, is the buildup of new lean muscle mass that results from the exercise. “If you are weight training regularly, your body fat percentage will decrease, but your muscle will become denser,” the guide noted.

Since muscle mass is denser than fat, it tends to show up as extra weight. This shift in body composition, as Fitness Fahrenheit explained, takes at least a month or two of consistent strength training to manifest.

Other reasons for weight gain outlined by the guide include increased water retention from consuming post-workout snacks or supplements and inflammatory weight gain.

As Fitness Fahrenheit explained, some post-workout nutritional products are high in carbs, which, when consumed, cause a spike in muscle glycogen and stimulate the body to retain more water.

Exercise-induced inflammation results from the body’s repair process for those microtears the muscle tissues sustain during a workout. These inflammations occur because of an accumulation of white blood cells in the body, which can show up as temporary weight gain post-workout, the guide stated.

Readers can also find a variety of other practical tips in the guide that can help them avoid post-workout weight gain. For example, the guide recommends switching those carb-loaded post-workout snacks for protein-rich alternatives. Doing more cardio, especially moderately intense cardio exercises, for at least five hours a week in addition to weight training two days a week is an excellent way to increase strength and prevent weight gain.

  • Carbs For Muscle Growth: Strength Training Workout Nutrition Guide Released

In a move that disproves popular opinion, Fitness Fahrenheit, through its new guide, argues that carbohydrates are beneficial for building muscle mass since they are a readily available fuel source the body needs to power itself through rigorous workout routines.

More information is available at https://www.fitnessfahrenheit.com/do-you-need-carbs-to-build-muscle/

Though Fitness Fahrenheit agrees in its latest guide that not all carbohydrates are good, especially those from processed food, it points out that complex carbohydrates are a major source of macronutrients. Adding fiber-rich carbs to one’s workout meals helps prevent fatigue when exercising, ensuring depleted glycogen in the liver and muscles is efficiently and quickly replenished.

“When you’re building muscle, it’s wise to limit your consumption of simple carbohydrates,” the guide noted. “These foods give you almost no nutritional benefits.”

Instead, Fitness Fahrenheit advises readers to increase their intake of foods that are high in complex carbs, such as whole wheat bread, brown rice, quinoa, chicken peas, oats, and whole wheat pasta.

For those doing high-intensity workouts or over 60 minutes of exercise per day, the guide recommends consuming the recommended daily amount of carbohydrates for their level of activity and sex.

Fitness Fahrenheit points out that beyond their energy-boosting properties, carbs also offer post-workout benefits necessary for recovery and muscle building. The expert explains that eating carbohydrates as part of a post-workout meal can lead to an uptick in insulin levels.

As the guide clarifies, insulin helps lower cortisol levels in the body (another hormone that helps increase energy and performance during a workout), thus making the body go into a parasympathetic state that’s vital for rest and digestion.

While carbs can help build muscle, Fitness Fahrenheit notes that protein is still an integral part of the whole muscle-building process as it aids muscle recovery by promoting the healing of strained, torn, and worn muscle tissues.

The guide ends with a piece of advice for readers, encouraging them not to eliminate carbs from their diet when doing strength training since doing so could jeopardize their health and fitness goals.

Fitness Fahrenheit is dedicated to providing practical tips that help fitness enthusiasts maximize their workout sessions via its timely educational articles, handy workout plans, and exercise equipment reviews.

  • Exercise Without Dieting: Tracking Calorie Intake & Fitness Goals Guide Released

Created by Koji Lopez, a Marine Corps veteran turned fitness and nutrition instructor, the new guide provides a quick summary of what happens when someone exercises with the hope of trimming down body fat without adhering to a healthy diet. It also covers practical strategies readers can implement to achieve a balance between their calorie intake and workout routines.

More details can be found at https://www.fitnessfahrenheit.com/what-happens-if-you-exercise-without-dieting/

In the new guide, Lopez explains that achieving a lean physique depends largely on one’s ability to consistently go into a calorie deficit state, where an individual uses more calories than they consume.

Many people erroneously believe they can shed body fat by simply exercising. But as Lopez pointed out, these physical activities, as good as they are, cannot help much without dietary modifications.

Pairing dieting and exercising together allows people to pursue their fitness goals on two fronts: it enables them to control the number of calories they consume and, at the same time, expend more energy on fat-burning activities.

Clarifying further, Lopez says most fitness enthusiasts tend to feel hungrier after exercising, which, if satiated, can undo all the benefits of the workout. On the other hand, adjusting their diets can help reduce hunger cravings while still allowing them to meet their body’s nutritional needs.

One way the guide suggests readers can balance dieting and exercise is to track their calorie intake. Identifying the major sources of one’s calories and how much is being consumed, as the guide notes, ensures that the food can be easily replaced with healthier alternatives.

The guide also recommends around 150 minutes of cardiovascular exercise for adults each week as part of the workout plan for gaining a lean body. In the guide, readers will find other tips for maximizing their workout, including using a heart rate monitor to track the intensity of each exercise, among others.

In the report, Lopez writes, “People often throw themselves completely into exercising or dieting, and while this occasionally gets results, it can often be a lot more difficult. Instead, try balancing these two while following the advice in the guide to get results easily.”

  • Pregnancy-Safe Exercises: Situps & Core Workout Guide For Expecting Moms Release

The new guide provides a quick overview of the safest time during pregnancy when an expecting mom can do sit-ups, as well as the potential side effects of the exercise. The fitness expert also highlights alternative and safe workout routines pregnant women can perform to keep their core strong.

More details can be found at https://www.fitnessfahrenheit.com/can-you-do-sit-ups-while-pregnant/

In its latest guide, Fitness Fahrenheit states that sit-ups can be done during the first trimester with little to no issue. However, beyond the first three months of pregnancy, women should avoid exercises that require lying on one’s back to perform them, including sit-ups.

While working the abs during pregnancy has some benefits, such as strengthening the pelvic floor muscles, reducing back pain, and ensuring faster labor and postpartum recovery, Fitness Fahrenheit points out that these types of exercises could cause diastasis recti – a situation where the abdominal muscles separate at the midline.

“It’s not just the potential threat of diastasis recti that is a problem, though,” the guide noted. “Laying on your back for any long period after the first trimester poses its own risk.”

As such, Fitness Fahrenheit suggests some pregnancy-safe core exercises that expecting women can incorporate into their routines without endangering themselves or the fetus. Cat-cow pose, seated pelvic tilts, bird dog, and modified side plank are four of the workout routines highlighted in the guide.

These exercises, as Fitness Fahrenheit explained, are suitable for pregnant women, allowing them to stay fit and healthy without putting too much pressure on themselves.

The fitness expert also emphasizes that before attempting any new exercises, expecting moms should seek approval from their healthcare provider.

In addition to this guide, women can also find additional resources on Fitness Fahrenheit’s website, including Pilates strength training, 5×5 strong lifts for women, “does running make your butt bigger?”, and more.

  • Women’s Weightlifting Workout Splits | Beginners’ Training Guide Launched

In the new guide, Fitness Fahrenheit covers the benefits of workout splits for women weightlifters, including how beginners, intermediates, and advanced weightlifters can incorporate them into their workout routines. Each workout split is designed to maximize results by targeting specific muscle groups and allowing for ample recovery time.

    For more details, visit https://www.fitnessfahrenheit.com/different-workout-splits-for-women-to-try/

With the launch of the new guide, the online fitness and wellness resource website continues on its mission to empower women with evidence-based information and advice to live healthy, active lifestyles and achieve their fitness goals.

“Following a workout split gives your muscle groups the time they need to recover between workouts,” said Koji Lopez, founder of Fitness Fahrenheit. “Another benefit of a workout split is that it allows for a more intense workout on each muscle group because they’re getting an increased amount of recovery time after.”

According to the guide, there is more than one way to adopt a workout split program, and there is room for variation and personalization depending on the individual’s workout goals. It highlights that there are a variety of benefits to a workout split, including promoting recovery time between workouts to avoid injuries and faster muscle gains.

For beginners in weight training, Koji Lopez states that either a workout split or a full-body workout would be ideal to get their journey started. He adds that a good workout split for a beginner focuses on the upper and lower body areas and can be done in any order.

The guide also covers the different workout split variations for intermediate and advanced weightlifters that require a better understanding of their body’s muscle groups. In the guide, advanced weightlifters are given a custom workout split program that allows for power, low-rep workouts, and muscle growth.

Fitness Fahrenheit is an online provider of fitness and wellness information for enthusiasts at every stage of their fitness journey. It was founded by Koji Lopez, an 8-year Marine Corps veteran and author with a passion for health and fitness.

A spokesperson said: “Workout splits are a great idea for women weightlifters because it allows many important muscle groups to get an intense workout but also leaves lots of time for muscle recovery in between.”
