Pet Adoption Event At Integrity College of Health

Integrity College of Health located in Pasadena, California, will host the Pasadena Humane Society’s Wiggle Waggle Waggin’ Pet Adoption event on January 28, 2023. The event follows the announcement that ICH is now offering a Veterinary Assistant training program, designed to be completed in as few as 35 weeks.

The Wiggle Waggle Waggin’ Pet Adoption event will be set up in the parking lot at Integrity College of Health, 1460 N. Lake Ave Suite 102, Pasadena, CA. The pet adoption event will run from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, January 28, 2023. The public is welcomed to stop by to meet the adoptable pets and check out the ICH campus while there.

The event will focus on pet adoptions, but there will also be a K9 presentation by the Pasadena Police Foundation and a Disaster Training Specialists Pet CPR demonstration. There will be a Vendors Village with great businesses like Animalia NoHo, a natural wellness store for pets. ACCESS Specialty Animals Hospitals will be there as well. The event will also feature music, food, raffles, giveaways and fun!

The Pasadena Humane Society is a community-supported animal resource center providing compassion and care for all animals. The Pasadena Humane Society has operated since 1903, offering lifesaving programs and services for animals and the people who love them in the Greater Los Angeles Area. The Pasadena campus provides shelter, dedicated care, and new beginnings for thousands of vulnerable animals every year. In addition to pet adoptions and foster, the Pasadena Humane Society also offers programs and services aimed at helping people care for and keep their pets, such as free and low-cost spay/neuter and vaccines, a pet food bank, and an animal support call center.

In partnering with Integrity College of Health to host the Wiggle Waggle Waggin’ Pet Adoption event, the Pasadena Humane Society demonstrates the Pasadena community’s support for ICH’s new Veterinary Assistant program. ICH’s new Veterinary Assistant (VA) certificate program begins February 2023.

The Veterinary Assistant certificate program is designed to be completed in as few as 35 weeks, and graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Veterinary Assistant Diploma. ICH’s VA program provides hands-on training so that students gain practice in real life situations, rather than learning just from textbooks. Students receive a combination of quality curriculum delivered by experienced faculty, and hands-on practical experience in on-campus labs and through an externship. Students graduate from the program with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to potentially enter the veterinary field in entry-level veterinary assistant positions.

Integrity College of Health offers hybrid, hands-on, and online classes designed to train students for healthcare careers in a short amount of time. Hands-on training from industry professional faculty prepares students for success in their chosen healthcare careers upon graduation.
