  • “An Evening of Gratitude” Virtual Poetry Recital in aid of 2 schools in Jamaica

    It is with absolute delight that on Sunday, December 18th, 2022, Rays of Hope will be staging its 3rd annual virtual event entitled ‘An Evening of Gratitude’ as the Rays of Hope team seeks to honor its commitment to making this an annual charity event for the benefit of students in Jamaica.

    The Rays of Hope team includes Hope Dias Davis, Winston ‘Ras Painter’ Henry, Barbara Vaughan, Deborah Bernard, Claudia Barrett, Du’aine and Jordan Davis. Together they aim to encourage and foster a sense of hope and togetherness especially for those experiencing difficult times.

    The original concept was developed by Hope Dias Davis as an opportunity to share her anthology with friends and family during the COVID-19 pandemic.

    On December 20, 2020, the Rays Team held its inaugural event entitled ‘Rays of Hope’ in memory of Donna Marie Hinds. This was a virtual event, organised and promoted via the Eventbrite Platform and hosted on Zoom. This recital was so very well received, that it was agreed that it would become an annual event. The second recital entitled ‘An Evening of Hope’ was staged the following year, in December 2021. The Team decided to promote this as a charitable fundraiser, to assist students at two High Schools in Jamaica, St. Jago High and Kingston College, Hope’s and Winston’s Alma Maters respectively.

  • ERC Rebate Application CPA Service & Pandemic Relief Eligibility Check Launched

    Recent changes to the ERTC program have made most small and medium-sized business owners eligible and increased the maximum allowable rebates up to $26,000 per employee. The updated fast rebate program helps employers to claim their tax credits with a minimum time commitment while guaranteeing them the maximum rebate for their business.
