“There is no possibility of a premarital agreement providing for child custody in the eventuality of divorce, as child custody issues can change based on the needs of the child, and child custody modifications often happen at multiple times during the tenure of a divorced couple’s lifetime,” noted Atighechi. “Prenuptial agreements are fundamentally for financial issues and asset protection, particularly in the event of a contested divorce. Asher College announced its participation in AWS Academy, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) program that provides higher education institutions with a ready-to-teach cloud computing curriculum. In 2022, students began enrolling in Asher’s Cloud and Computer Security Specialist program that will prepare them to obtain industry-recognized AWS Certifications and pursue careers in the fast-growing cloud computing space.

According to Tracy Applegate, AWS Academy’s Global Team Lead, “IT professionals with cloud skills are in high demand, and we’re proud to help advance training and learning opportunities for students at Asher College. With AWS Academy, students will be equipped with the practical skills they need to add value in their first cloud role.”

The AWS courses are included in two Asher College programs: the Cloud and Computer Security Specialist Certificate program and the Associate of Applied Science in Cloud and Computer Security Degree program. Both programs contain the AWS Cloud Practitioner (AWS101) and the AWS Solutions Architect (AWS102) courses. The programs are identical, but the AAS Degree program includes an additional six general education courses.

The AWS Academy curriculum is developed and maintained by AWS subject matter experts, ensuring that it reflects current services and up-to-date best practices. Courses are taught by AWS Academy- approved educators who are trained by AWS to help students become proficient in AWS technology.
