  • Whitechapel Securities Reports Growing Client Demand for Diversified Investment Portfolios

Sydney, Australia, July 22nd, 2026, FinanceWire

Whitechapel Securities Highlights Growing Client Demand for Diversified Investment Strategies Amid Evolving Market Conditions

Whitechapel Securities today announced its continued focus on helping clients build diversified, long-term investment portfolios in response to growing demand for balanced wealth management strategies. The firm said increasing numbers of clients are seeking greater portfolio resilience through diversification as they navigate changing economic conditions, inflationary pressures, and evolving global markets.

According to Whitechapel Securities, clients are increasingly seeking balanced investment strategies that reduce reliance on any single sector, asset class, or geographic region. Rather than focusing on short-term market movements, many investors are placing greater emphasis on long-term resilience, capital preservation, and portfolio diversification.

The trend follows a period of heightened global economic uncertainty, ongoing inflation concerns, changing interest rate expectations, and increased geopolitical developments, all of which have contributed to investors reassessing how they manage risk within their portfolios.

“Over the past year, we’ve seen noticeably more conversations centred around diversification,” said Michael Henderson, Senior Client Advisor at Whitechapel Securities.

“Clients are taking a more measured approach to investing. Rather than asking where the next short-term opportunity may be, they’re increasingly asking how to build portfolios that can remain resilient through changing market conditions.”

Thomas Walsh, Head of Investments at Whitechapel Securities said investors today are spending more time understanding the relationship between different asset classes and how diversification can contribute to long-term financial outcomes.

“Today’s investors are generally more informed than ever before. Many arrive having already undertaken significant research, and they’re looking to understand how different investments work together within a broader portfolio rather than viewing opportunities in isolation.”

Whitechapel Securities believes the shift reflects a broader evolution in investor behaviour, with financial education playing an increasingly important role in investment decision-making.

The firm has also observed growing interest in understanding topics such as portfolio construction, risk management, inflation, global markets and long-term wealth preservation, with clients seeking greater transparency and education before making investment decisions.

“Access to financial information has never been greater,” Thomas Walsh added.

“The conversations we’re having today are increasingly focused on long-term objectives, portfolio balance and disciplined investing. We believe that’s a positive development for investors and for the broader financial services industry.”

Established in 2019, Whitechapel Securities is headquartered in Sydney and provides investment services and market insights to Australian investors. The firm continues to invest in educational resources, market commentary and client engagement initiatives designed to help investors make informed financial decisions.

  • TokenInsight Q2 2026 Report: TradFi Momentum Lifts MEXC to No. 2 in Commodity Perpetuals

Mutsamudu, Comoros, July 22nd, 2026, Chainwire

MEXC, a pioneer in 0-fee digital asset trading, increased its market share in Q2 2026 and ranked No. 2 globally in commodity perpetuals market share, according to TokenInsight’s newly released Q2 2026 Crypto Exchange Report. The report provides a comprehensive review of trading volume, open interest, and TradFi perpetuals markets across major global crypto exchanges.

MEXC Expands Market Share Amid Industry-Wide Slowdown

Overall trading volume across crypto exchanges declined approximately 8% quarter-on-quarter in Q2 2026, falling to $16.5 trillion. Despite the broader market slowdown, MEXC’s quarterly trading volume reached approximately $1.412 trillion, with its market share rising from 7.17% in Q1 to 8.53% in Q2. This 1.36 percentage point gain was the second-largest increase among all exchanges tracked in the report.

Derivatives Market Share Ranks No. 4, Open Interest Climbs to No. 3 Globally

MEXC’s derivatives market share reached 9.51%, ranking fourth globally, placing it alongside Binance, OKX, and Bybit in a top tier that together commands more than 72% of the market. Meanwhile, MEXC’s average open interest market share rose from 8.62% to 9.21%, climbing to third place, up from fourth in Q1.

TradFi Momentum Drives Commodity Perpetuals to No. 2

TradFi perpetuals became a key growth driver for MEXC in Q2 2026, as the segment emerged as the industry’s fastest-growing product category. MEXC’s TradFi perpetuals trading volume reached $68.8 billion, giving it a 10.85% market share and a fourth-place global ranking. Within MEXC’s own platform, TradFi perpetuals accounted for 7.22% of total derivatives volume, the third-highest such proportion among major centralized exchanges.

Commodities stood out as the strongest-performing segment within MEXC’s TradFi perpetuals business. MEXC’s market share in commodity perpetuals — including gold, silver, and crude oil — rose from 10.6% to 14.7% in Q2, a gain of 4.1 percentage points. This was the largest increase among all exchanges tracked in the report. The gain brought MEXC to the No. 2 position globally in commodity perpetuals market share.

Product Expansion into Pre-IPO and Real Stocks

Building on this momentum, MEXC further broadened its TradFi product suite in Q2 with the launch of the SpaceX Pre-IPO Launchpad and RealStocks trading. The Pre-IPO Launchpad gives users early access to pre-listing markets, while RealStocks extends MEXC’s U.S. equities offering beyond contract-based price exposure to direct U.S. stock ownership, complete with zero trading fees and corresponding dividend entitlements. These launches mark MEXC’s expansion beyond TradFi contracts linked to gold, oil, and U.S. equities into pre-IPO opportunities and direct U.S. stock ownership, creating a one-stop gateway spanning crypto, TradFi, Pre-IPO, and real U.S. stocks.

STARTRADER today launches 42 new 24/5 US Stock CFDs and announces the introduction of 43 new 24/7 US Stock CFDs from 27 July 2026, expanding its offering to 85 new instruments.

STARTRADER today announced the launch of 42 new 24/5 US Stock CFDs and confirmed 43 new 24/7 US Stock CFDs from 27 July 2026, giving clients direct access to 85 widely traded names.

The 24/5 range spans technology, energy, healthcare, finance, and industrials, covering Boeing, SpaceX, Mastercard, and Palo Alto Networks across themes including defence modernisation, cybersecurity, and aerospace innovation.

From 27 July 2026, the 24/7 stock CFD range addresses one of the most persistent constraints in equity trading: exchange schedules. Available from Monday through Sunday, 00:00–24:00 (GMT+3 platform time), it covers CFDs on AI and semiconductor leaders NVIDIA, Apple, Microsoft, and AMD; platform economy giants Meta, Alphabet, Amazon, and Palantir; financial anchors JPMorgan and Visa; and emerging-sector names including Tesla, Circle Internet Group, and AST SpaceMobile.

As market-moving events increasingly occur outside traditional trading hours, the ability to respond without restriction has become one of the most meaningful advantages a broker can offer. STARTRADER’s commitment is structural: a product architecture built around the pace at which the world moves and the needs of clients across every time zone.

“Our clients follow markets across time zones, make decisions over weekends, and receive news at midnight. This launch is built around that reality, giving every client equal access, wherever they are and at any hour.” Peter Karsten, Chief Executive Officer, STARTRADER

With a growing global client base and a clear direction toward broader, deeper market access, STARTRADER is actively building the next phase of its product offering, one where the barriers between clients and the markets they want to trade continue to narrow.

Trading CFDs involves a significant risk of loss and may not be suitable for all investors. Please ensure you fully understand the risks before trading.

  • TaxTec Development Head Raises Red Flag Framework for AI Deployment in Highly Regulated Fintech

London, United Kingdom, July 21st, 2026, FinanceWire

Austen Little, Head of Product Development at withholding tax reclamation experts TaxTec, has released a summary guidance note on the deployment of AI in highly regulated financial services applications.

The guidance draws on TaxTec’s historical and recent product and service development experience to highlight several areas of risk when using or implementing artificial intelligence in capital markets financial services. Mr Little’s guidance note builds on advice from authorities such as the OECD [1], The World Economic Forum [2] and the International Monetary Fund [3], amongst others, urging caution over the risks of machine learning in financial services processes and decision making.

Mr Little highlights the fact that many financial markets processes, many of which are in the throes of regulatory digitalization, still present challenges for effective AI deployment, including:

    • Data quality issues – especially where processes are international and span multiple legislatures
    • The rate of digital evolution of the sector and changing regulatory regimes
    • The requirements for ‘explainability’ of client decisions (risk, approvals, entitlements)
    • The nature and scale of ‘harms’ possibly resulting from AI agent mistakes, and their likely impact on financial institutions
    • The AI-generated tension between financial services risk appetite and client service standards/reputation
    • Data governance and privacy considerations in data-hungry AI-driven world

Striking a balanced argument, however, Mr Little’s guidance note also highlights where the power and efficiency of AI can be safely deployed and generate substantial value. He points out specific examples from the world of withholding tax reclamation in order to give precise examples that readers can recognize and which are drawn from TaxTec’s real life experience. These include:

    • Document management
    • Data extraction
    • Data quality enhancement
    • Research assistance
    • Workflow management
    • Status monitoring
    • Analytics & forecasting

Utilizing the latest AI-enabled digital technology, their highly automated global tax recovery proposition and client-centric service model maximize reclaim opportunities for their clients across all major markets.
